Freelance Product Designer / Senior Product Designer

Job Duty

This position is responsible for the gifts product design. The product design begins with conceptualization and drawing. Major duties will include product, graphic, packaging design and artwork production (output). JOB DESCRIPTION 【Prior experience in licensed IPs is a must】 * Design gifts product products & packaging Perform product research, market analysis, generate new product ideas, rendering and presentation * Undertake detailed project work and mock-up sample preparation * Set the product line direction, topic and product range Research and analyze the fashion and market trends and provide the ideas for management * Sourcing in different suppliers and selected the proper materials for development * Comment on all printing strike off and samples * Work closely with merchandisers to ensure proper fitting of the product * Plan the colour range and mix & match of collection for buying meeting REQUIREMENTS * Previous work experience in trading companies, preferably in the handbags / premiums / promotion items industry. Prior experience with a competitor is highly preferred * Form 5 or above * 2 years or above experience * Creative, Diligent and with strategic mindset about product design Good sketching and drafting technique by hand and computer; * Proficient in PC & Mac, Illustrator and Photoshop. More experience will be considered as Senior post * Creative, self-motivated, sense of responsibility and willing to learn, able to work under pressure * Good communication skills with positive working attitude * Good command of written and spoken English and Chinese. Japanese is a major plus * 3D modelling and/or 3D product design experience is a plus * Job Types: Freelance
