On December 9th, Moovup was invited to attend the St. James’ Settlement “Winter Ideal Jobs” (冬日筍工) Job Fair. We shared with residents in Wan Chai how to use the Moovup app to apply for jobs and introduced the app’s latest features. The job fair featured nine companies from various industries – including retail, catering, security, and cleaning – conducting on-the-spot interviews and recruitment.
This Moovup app introduction session was attended by numerous members of St. James’ Settlement. By learning to use the Moovup app, job seekers can break away from traditional job-hunting methods, no longer restricted to street recruitment advertisements, and search for their ideal jobs anytime, anywhere.
The application process using the Moovup app is straightforward and user-friendly. Users simply need to download the Moovup app on their phones and register as a member using their phone number. They can immediately search for frontline positions across Hong Kong Island, Kowloon, and the New Territories, spanning up to 16 popular industries. The streamlined mobile app design allows job seekers to easily filter jobs by employment type (full-time, part-time, and temporary), industry, salary, location, and time. The newly added simplified resume builder also makes it convenient for job seekers to create and update their electronic resumes on the go, highlighting their work experience and skills to secure employment in the shortest possible time.
