Chess Coach Wanted We are looking for passionate and experienced chess coaches to join our growing chess academy. Whether you're a seasoned grandmaster or a skilled player with teaching experience, we want to hear from you! Requirements: Strong playing ability with verifiable chess rating/ranking (Fide rating>1700 and/or Chess.com rapid>1800) Previous coaching experience preferred Fluent/Native English Speaker Preferred Excellent communication and teaching skills Patience and ability to work with students of all ages and skill levels Reliability and punctuality Responsibilities: Teach chess fundamentals, strategies, and tactics to students Develop personalized training plans for individual students Conduct group classes and private lessons Prepare students for tournaments and competitions Track and report student progress

EC Chess Education is a chess education institute in Hong Kong dedicated to promoting quality chess culture education in the territory. It primarily cultivates chess expertise through three different types of chess courses: "Go (Weiqi)," "Chinese Chess (Xiangqi)," and "International Chess." Beyond intellectual development, we also focus on character building, helping students address various needs throughout their growth journey. Through chess courses, we nurture students to develop well-rounded personalities and guide them toward successful paths. The institute not only places great importance on cultural education in Hong Kong's chess industry but also advocates giving new purpose to Hong Kong's chess enterprise on its traditional foundation—promoting this national cultural treasure and developing it to be more widespread and modernized.
