General Deli Staff / Floor Manager Full time (5 days per week) Meat The Sea was founded 2 years ago and we shared a dream to bring the best product from Europe to Hong Kong, mainly focused on seafood. We strive to have the freshest products and to be innovative, transparent, and determined in our business. Following the launch of Meat The Sea in 2018, our group has since left its imprint in the Hong Kong food and beverage industry with its own trading company and retail shop. With the simple mission of delivering memorable experiences, our group focuses on putting the team first while serving quality cuisine within our welcoming restaurants. Soon we will open our flagship store from Meat The Sea in Sheung Wan, which will be a combination of high-end groceries, deli, and seafood bar focused on fine dining. We are offering a vacancy for general staff. More experienced/qualified candidates will also be considered for the Floor Manager position. Responsibilities • Maintain daily operations on the shop floor • Assist customers to find goods in the shop • Responsible for processing payments • Involved in stock control and stocking shelves • Keeping the operations floor tidy and clean • Ensuring all company standards are met during service • Setting up the deli area before shifts, assisting with prep and undertaking basic cooking and prep duties • Perform other duties as assigned Requirements • Positive attitude with a teamwork-mindset • High work-ethic and service-oriented • Minimum of 3 years of experience working in F&B or retail is required • Strong English is a must, Cantonese or other language is an advantage • Excellent interpersonal skills • Multi-Tasking, self-motivated attention to details, well-organized and responsible • Independent and able to work under pressure • Applicants should be eligible to work in Hong Kong (MUST hold a valid working visa or eligible for a working holiday visa) Benefits • Competitive package with 5-day work week • Weekly in-house training from Management • Food and beverage tasting • Rapid progression opportunities in a fast growing company • Staff can also enjoy 30% discount in our shops We offer a competitive salary which is negotiable depending on experience and qualifications.
