Senior Field Engineer

Job Duty

Our client is seeking a highly skilled Senior Field Engineer to join our team. The Senior Field Engineer will be responsible for managing and implementing complex projects, providing technical guidance to junior team members, and ensuring that projects are completed on time and within budget. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in engineering and be able to work independently and collaboratively with cross-functional teams. Responsibilities: Lead the implementation of complex projects, including system integration and installation, commissioning, and testing Provide technical guidance and support to junior field engineers and technicians Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including project managers, sales, and product development teams Ensure that projects are completed on time and within budget Perform site surveys, prepare technical reports and documentation, and develop project plans Work with customers to understand their requirements and provide technical support as needed Train customers on the use of DCSS Technology products and services Stay current with industry trends and advancements in DCSS Technology products and services Requirements: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering or related field At least 3 years of experience in field engineering, including experience in project management Strong Server and Storage hardware configuration knowledge will be an advantage Proficiency in solving computer hardware-related issues for IBM, DELL and HP Strong technical knowledge in electrical and mechanical engineering Strong analytical skills and attention to detail Excellent written and verbal communication skills Ability to work independently and in a team environment Willingness to travel domestically and internationally as needed
